Suzanne Wood, APCC
Suzanne Wood is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She is passionate about mental health and emotional regulation. Suzanne has years of experience as an advocate for neurodivergent people, specifically folks with autism and ADHD. As a queer, non-binary person, Suzanne is sensitive to and affirming of the needs of LGBTQIA+ populations.
During her internship, Suzanne worked with people experiencing substance use disorders across a number of settings: outpatient, residential, and in custody. Suzanne believes that recovery from trauma and substances is not only possible, but is a human birthright.
When you come to a session with Suzanne, you are in a safe space. You deserve to be witnessed with unconditional positive regard, and gently guided towards your own internal knowing. Suzanne believes that healing is possible and that we all contain infinite wisdom. We only need to remember how powerful we are, and a good therapist can help us do exactly that. Her favorite quotation is by Carl Jung: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."
Suzanne is available to work with children, youth, couples, families, and individuals. She has open availability Monday-Friday
