Coreen has experience working with depression, trauma, anxiety, multi racial families and LGBTQ - friendly populations.
She is experienced in helping people understand mixed race identity development in Bicultural and/or interethnic individuals. Fostering a healthy mixed race identity is highly important. This is accomplished by addressing topics such as processing difficult racial experiences, fighting bias, identity struggles and managing microaggression.
Coreen's specialty is working with athletes. As a former collegiate athlete, she is aware of the unique athlete needs that are often neglected. Her work with athletes involves helping them understand the importance of medication compliance, managing stress & anxiety, finding alternatives to self-harming behaviors, developing skills to manage pressure & relationships, and finding identity after leaving the sport.
Coreen attended Argosy University where she obtained her degree in Forensic and Counseling Psychology.
Her approach to working with clients is from a humanistic and cognitive behavioral approach
